Our Solar street light -SUNWAY- has a MPPT ?Maximum Power Point Tracker? management regulation system, which is the most efficient battery control system, both for the protection of the battery, extending its useful life, and for the most efficient performance system to obtain more lumens from the luminaire, which achieves the maximum useful life and maximizes the performance of the battery.

The solar panel of the solar street light is monocrystalline which are the most efficient on the market, reaching 20% of collection, compared to 15% of the polycrystalline ones. The MPPT regulator is capable of separating the operating voltage of the solar panel from the battery voltage. This allows it to set the voltage of the solar panels at the optimum point to obtain the maximum power at each moment of use of the solar luminaire, charging even on cloudy days.

Although the lantern comes pre-programmed, the programming will be modified if the controller understands that the battery level is low. In other words, the controller will help extend the life of the battery by protecting it against use at very low levels.
